• ImmunoLight™ is a general use functional immune cell proliferation assay where the investigator employs their own culture reagents and protocol for any type of immune cell.
• ImmunoLight™ TCP Assay Kits include specific cocktails to stimulate functional T-lymphocytes.
• ImmunoLight™ BCP is specific for stimulating functional human B-lymphocytes.
• ImmunoLight™ MLC for 1- or 2-Way Mixed Lymphocyte Culture (MLC).

Uses of the ImmunoLight™ family of assays include, but are not limited to, the following:  

• Lymphocyte activation.
• T-lymphocyte proliferation (see also ImmunoLight™-96 TCP)
• Test unprimed T-cells in the presence of antibodies, enterotoxins, mitogens etc.
• Cellular immune response studies.
• Single cell, T-lymphocyte cloning studies.
• Test DLI (Donor Lymphocyte Infusion) samples for stimulation/induction prior to use.
• Effect of accessory (non T-cells) on T cell induction.
• Effect of co-stimulators on T-cell induction.
• Effect of epitope sequences and novel peptides or proteins.
• Test the response of primed T-cells in vitro.

Uses of ImmunoLight™ MLC include:

• One-way or two-way mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) / reaction (MLR).
• Allogeneic mixed lymphocyte culture.
• Dendritic cell interactions.
• Mesenchymal stem/stromal cell interactions.
• Agents that activate/suppress MLC/MLR.

 

• Uses a colorimetric/absorbance ELISA plate reader, available in most laboratories.
• Non-subjective, instrument-based and quantitative.
• Flexibility to use virtually any protocol, reagents and growth factors/cytokines or other immune agent stimulators or suppressors.
• Assay kit includes supplies for culture and cell processing.
• Simple, time efficient and cost effective.

• IL-2 alone, or
• CD3 + CD28 co-stimulators, or
• IL-2 + CD3 + CD28 co-stimulators as a complete cocktail

ImmunoGlo™ BCP assay kits for human or mouse B-cells are available with the following cocktails:

• Proprietary cocktail contains cytokines only.
• Proprietary cocktail includes conjugates, ligands and cytokines (human)
• Proprietary cocktail includes conjugates and cytokines (mouse).

ImmunoLight™ MLC contains the same contents for all ImmunoLight™ assays, but includes:
